This mixture of doctors, spouses and a grandmother were allegedly drinking wine on a quiz night at the Tapas Bar at the Ocean Club Resort in Praia da Luz on May 3, 2007. Whether their alibi is true or not is unclear. What is clear is that the McCanns said they left their three toddlers alone in their apartment as they drank the night away. According to Kate and Gerry, their 3 year old daughter Madeleine was abducted in between their routine checks on the children.

This site and its supporters do not believe this story.

Since the story began in May 2007, the newspapers and television stations have made this into the biggest missing child case in history. For unknown reasons, the press have been deleting certain stories from their websites. Tapas.info aims to archive those stories so that in the event they are deleted, you can still read them here. In some cases, stories have been modified and there are multiple versions due to archival sites such as Google or Webarchive.
